Yoni steaming is a powerful ancient self-care practice used by women worldwide to support deep wellness, women's wisdom, herbal medicine, and feminine power. Yoni steams, also referred to as V steams, vaginal steams, pelvic steams, chai-yok, or bajo's, are a part of ancient womanly healing arts that are becoming popular again. Yoni steams are holistic self-care practices in which a woman allows the warmth of herbal steam to permeate the exterior of her vagina gently.

Yoni steams are used mainly to cleanse the uterus when there are menstrual difficulties, after birth, and with menopause to completely clean the womb when finished bleeding.

About our ingredients:

Raspberry leaf has traditionally been used to support female reproductive health.  From reducing periods cramping, regulating periods and supporting fertility, to easing transition through menopause.  It has been shown in many studies to support women's reproductive life.  The key is how it affects uterine muscles for anyone who bleeds.

Basil contains caffeic acid, which is a natural painkiller.Basil has strong relaxation properties being another way to soothe tense muscles that are causing menstrual pain

Yarrow has been used since medieval times to treat bleeding wounds. It is antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory in action. This means it aids the muscles of the uterus to work efficiently without spasm and/or cramping up. Uterine cramping and inflammation are the cause of the pain associated with menstrual cramps.

Nettle helps with heavy periods. If you have excessive menstrual bleeding, nettle can shorten the length of your period, make your flow lighter, and decrease the severity of cramps.Nettle is considered the number one source of iron amongst herbs and is generally rich in nutrients and minerals. The plant is wonderful for menstrual support. It can therefore be used for blood loss and to remineralise the body.

Flax seeds may limit the breast pain that women experience during their periods. They are known to help women's fertility by boosting the chances of conception. These seeds also support normal ovulation and restoration of hormonal balance.

Calendula appears to fight inflammation, viruses, and bacteria. Traditionally, calendula has been used to treat stomach upset and ulcers, as well as relieve menstrual cramps, decrease the clotting time and bleeding time.
